Hi Mr. Tucci,I just wanted to send you an email telling you how much I appreciate how you have helped me. You have no idea the fear I felt after I got my DUI in December. I didn't hire an attorney after the DUI because of the cost and also because I basically knew what I was already facing from talking to other people that had had one before. I went to court for my arraignment and I thought I would take my chances to see what the punishment was. At that time, if I needed to, I would have hired someone. Fortunately, I was able to take care of everything with that one court appearance. I was feeling okay after that, thinking that the punishment was manageable. But I couldn't believe it when I got pulled over while driving home from work in March by the same cop that stopped me for the DUI. Even though I had a suspended license, I was doing everything the court had asked me to do and was working on getting my restricted license back (which I did get 2 days after being pulled over, as you know). I know I shouldn't have been driving, but that day I had no way to work and I wasn't going to let "my mistake" destroy my life. So I took a chance and got myself in trouble, again. I honestly didn't think that the punishment would be more severe than the actual DUI. If I knew then what I know now, I would have NEVER drove on a suspended license. I knew I had to hire an attorney because I was looking a jail time and losing my license for a year. To me, it seemed as though everything was snowballing and I felt hopeless.
